This year it will be a bit harder to come by train due to rail-renovation works, so we collected all the useful info for You.
SHARING A RIDE
Drivers are kindly asked to share the space – and the fuel costs – with their fellow travelers. It is a community-driven, conscious, and environmentally friendly way of traveling.
Passengers and their drivers can find each other at the following places:

Of course the Galgaguta-Bercel-Festival minibus shuttle will be operating to take you from the train and bus stations, and vice versa, for example if you want to go shopping in the village.
And please forget about drunk driving, there will be roadside police controls!
TRAIN
To get to ‘Galgaguta’ village from Budapest you must catch a train from ‘Keleti Railway Station’ towards ‘Aszód’ (‘Hatvan’), but it’s important to know that there are train replacement buses running between ‘Pécel’ and ‘Aszód’ stations. At ‘Aszód’ station take the small red train departing towards destination ‘Balassagyarmat’ and get off at ‘Galgaguta’ station, from where the minibus shuttle will take you to the Festival gate. The cost of a train ticket in one direction for the entire trip is about 1,500 Ft (€5), and the journey takes around 2,5 hours.
