Saint Peter’s day clean-up
February 22 is “Saint Peter’s day” in the Hungarian folk tradition, when a one-day break must be taken to celebrate the end of Winter.
As one of the first events the team has spent this day in Csobánkapuszta, to collect plastic rubbish in the hidden areas of the bushes before the plants turn into green again. Although the fantastic volunteers of the PsyClean Crew (OૐV Productions) and the Rainbow Family made the area cleaner than some of the other forests, still more than 5 cubic meter litter was collected.
After the work we set a bonfire to celebrate together, to warm ourselves, and to enjoy the delicious meal prepared in the traditional wooden oven.
